Frequently Asked Questions

A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be applied toward the final grooming cost. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or fail to show up, the deposit will not be refunded and will serve as the cancellation fee. Rescheduling requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to transfer the deposit to a new appointment date.

We kindly ask that cancellations be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If you need to cancel within 24 hours, a $50.00 rescheduling fee (based on the appointment cost) will apply. This fee must be paid before we can schedule a new appointment. Refunds are at the discretion of Good Lickin’ Pups management.

Occasionally, our groomers may determine that additional services are necessary to safely complete your pet's grooming. These may include, but are not limited to, de-matting, shave-downs, or flea/tick treatments. Our groomers are highly trained and will strive to complete the grooming without extra services when possible, while ensuring your pet’s safety and comfort. If additional services are needed and weren’t selected during booking, our groomer will consult with you and add these services to the appointment charge. If you choose not to proceed with these services and our groomers feel they cannot safely continue, the appointment will be discontinued, and you will be responsible for at least 50% of the appointment charge for the time and work completed.

In rare instances, some pets may exhibit aggression towards our groomers. If this occurs, our groomers have the discretion to prioritize safety for both themselves and your pet. They may use restraint devices or muzzles if necessary, but if safety concerns arise, the grooming appointment will be discontinued. Additionally, if your pet is uncooperative or difficult to manage during arrival, we expect our clients to have control of their pets. If this is not possible, the appointment will be treated as a cancellation, and a 50% fee will apply.

Please note that appointment times are approximate. Due to the nature of mobile grooming, we will aim to arrive within one hour (before or after) your scheduled time. We recommend planning for this flexibility in your schedule. While we will do our best to inform you of any changes, please be aware that appointment times may change without notice. If you are unavailable within the hour before or after your scheduled appointment, our cancellation policy will apply, and a 50% fee will be charged.

All clients are responsible for following their community or HOA regulations. If we arrive at a time when outside contractors are not permitted and are denied access, we will consider this a Day-Of Cancellation and impose a 50% fee. Additionally, please ensure there is ample parking for our truck and trailer. If parking is deemed inadequate by Good Lickin’ Pups, you may provide an alternate location where we can park, and you can bring your pet to us. If we cannot resolve parking issues, a 50% day-of cancellation fee will apply.
